Diving Club can splash out after lottery grant
The National Lottery (or lotto as its also known) has splashed out on a Bury organisation to help give youngsters a taste of life on and beneath the ocean wave.
Bury 601 Sub Aqua Diving Club has been awarded a grant of £9,996 towards a new project aimed at providing a range of opportunities for children and young people, volunteer youth groups and young offenders, to develop their life skills and build self confidence.
Guided by qualified instructors, participants will learn boat handling, sea traffic control, tides, weather and marine navigation, and basic first aid, as well as going snorkelling and scuba diving.
I do love posting lottery good cause stories on my blog, its good to show people, where part of the money they raise, by playing the lottery goes. Here at the lottery players advantage blog, not only do we show you how to play in our lottery syndicates, we also like to spread good news whenever possible on positive spending of lotto money.
