Elottery meeting Holiday Inn Brentwood, Essex Sunday 12th of October 2008
Yesterday I did a long drive from Portsmouth up to Essex, battling through sunday traffic and worse the sunday drivers (and some of them really are crap) I was going to attend an elottery meeting. The reason I decided to drive so far, and spend all that time and money, is because we were going to be shown images of what the all new elottery website cold look like, as well as seeing exclusive clips from the new elottery dvd.
And remember it is mainly through the old dvd that I have so far built my elottery business. I know a lot of people seem to think that its best to build elottery online, however really in my opinion face to face offline is where it is at. And when the new dvd comes out that is where I will be once again concentrating my efforts.
So I arrived at the elottery meeting just before 2pm where I met some good elottery friends of mine Gary and
David B. (full names not used to protect their identities) Then it was into the meeting room, where I met Eric and Malcolm. Eric was filiming testimonials for the new site and DVD, Gary was working his magic for the Camera. Next it was my turn, off infront of the camera I went, and to be honest was very nervous so I probably wont be featured on the new DVD or website but heyho. Still it was a new experience for me.
Then the meeting started, and I was shocked that only a handful of people had invested their own time to attend this meeting, which would give them just a glimps of the future for elottery, and our businesses.
Malcolm skipped most of the standard stuff, as we had all seen it many times before. And then it was eric and the new site and dvd.
First came images of what could be the new elottery website. We saw some of the attempts, and I must say some were awful. However being that the new elottery site is actually aimed at females between 35-60, I would think that wouldn't I?
At the moment the stats on the company are roughly 78% of elottery customers being male. However demographics of most lottery players around europe, show that the majority of players are female between the ages of 35 and 60. So the new site will be aimed more at attracting the female lottery players to join an elottery syndicate.
A couple of new features are on the main page our customer support number will be displayed, so that people know that they can actually contact the company, and see that we are genuine. Also a new box telling the customers about the sites secuirty will be added, to give people complete piece of mind.
The site we saw (which isnt the finished one, but apparently similar) is a lot cleaner, and seems a lot less clutered which is good. The meeting also suggested a few changes which were noted by eric. I also saw a tell a friend button which I thought was a rather cracking idea.
We even saw where the new video will go on the site, this currently had a picture of Liz in the place. Liz is the new presenter of the video. And from a male perspective is very nice on the eye. So maybe its got two sides to the coin, women will be able to relate to her more, and males, well we will be pleased to watch a very beautiful lady tell us about the wonderful world of elottery.
Onto the new DVD, and we saw the new Smart player video. Smart player is a new idea which allows elottery players to reffer their friends and get a discount without needing to be an affiliate. With the possibilty of gettiNG A 100% DISCOUNT.
We then saw a rough copy of Liz doing the elottery movie, and let me tell you, I am now very excited again about the future with elottery. After a staggering 5 months without any dvd or movie worth talking about, it seems we are just weeks away from having another superb promotional tool at our disposal.
Dates for some future events at the company were given, including provisional dates for the DVD being avaliable and when we could possibly expect the new site. However I am going to keep these to the people who attended the meeting at the weekend.
