Lottery Players Advantage

Well the excitment is starting to build here in the United Kingdom and all over Europe as we now have only 4 days until the EuroMillions lottery rollover, which has an estimated jackpot of £113 million. However research is telling me that the amount could be up at £115 million already (as at end of monday) this is not confirmed but does make sense. I mean we should work on the basis that the euro lotto jackpot will be £113. I mean let's face it, thats more than enough to live off. 

Interesting to see people who do not play the lottery normally suddenly play it for a week or two because the jackpot is so big. I guess a lot of them thinking winning £8 million is not worth it, but £113 million is worth it! Even a group at work have got together to buy some tickets. 

I do think though, that maybe we are getting used to these big lottery jackpots though. I mean when I first started blogging about e-lottery syndicates, the jackpot we in the UK got excited about where £10 million, then a few years later, we were excited about £50 million lottery jackpots. Then what must of been just over 2 years ago, we had a massive £125 million (I know it was two years ago, because I remember where I was working) and the queues to buy tickets was well plain silly. This draw, whilst it is still grabbing the headlines and surely is increasing sales, appears to not be creating the buzz in the general public as previous draws have done. 

Another thing someone has just asked me (a friend who knows, I blog and promote elottery syndicates) is what about the millionaire raffle game. The point he was making is that sales must be going through the roof in the UK, and yet still it is only 1 million up for grabs, all those extra 50p's going into the additional prize fund, and still we have just a jackpot of £1 million. Does any of this money go to charity, what percentage of it is profit and where does the rest go. An interesting point, one to which I do not know the answer too. 

Hmmm this has become a very random post, and not really sure how it went so random. I did not even really talk about e-lottery and the EuroMillions syndicates they offer.
